Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality was one of the first customers to use Appinux Care. It was taken in use in 2013. They are using Appinux in the project called “Epitalet”.

“Epitalet” supports and treats citizens with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

The project’s key word is “empowerment”. By given them the necessary tools, the citizens learn to take bigger responsibility and to have a better understanding of their own disease. This is set to give them a better health condition and thus a better life quality.

Citizens that are involved in the project will receive a tablet and telemedical devices. They can make their own measurements and call a call center, where nurses sits around the clock and are ready to take video calls from concerned citizens.
