Appinux is a social and healthcare collaboration platform built on years of experience in medical projects with Danish municipalities and regions.

The platform was built around a simple thought and idea - that it must be a smarter way of working together - across municipalities, regions and institutions - across the healthcare professionals and citizens.

Application and usage

Appinux has a wide palette of built-in modules, and thus usage and application possibilities.
Below is a selection of the most popular areas.

Videoconferencing

A key functionality of the platform is the ability to conduct video conferences. The Video conferencing module offers
unlimited possibilities for communication across units and parties.

It is possible to have a video conference with up to 4 people in the same meeting and at the same time share a citizens test results,
records and the like.

The video conferencing module is platform independent, thus, it is possible to run a video conference, for example on
Android smart phones, Windows PCs and Mac computers.

Chronic illnesses

As a the scope, chronic disorders are not only one module, but a combination of many different modules - measuring devices, apps, automatically triage, graphs, etc. Appinux solution binds all these components together in a clear and easily accessible package.

Alarms and Monitoring.

Triage, TOBS schedules and other citizen-related measurements may require an immediate assessment by a medical professional or other professional employee. Appinux is able to come up with guidance alarms for such data, and thus advise employees that an operation is necessary.

The modules Observations, Call center and Broset monitor are examples of
modules that handle alarms, triage and monitoring.

Support and structure

Support and structure covers many things. In Appinux, the term concerns the areas ADL and structure of in work life.

Citizen empowerment and ADL

Empowerment means that the citizen will be able to carry himself, his life and tasks of daily living (Da: ADL). Appinux modules Wish List, Calendar, My goals and My plan together with our app forms the basis for citizens to be self-reliant

Chronic illnesses

Another area of support and structure, is for the employees that help people. Not with empowerment, but work in the health sector in general.


Appinux modules Calendar, Journal Notes, Citizen managemet and Call Center helps employees to become more efficient in their daily work. Team board helps rehabilitation teams to plan the arrival of citizens, the treatment and the further process.

Early detection of beginning illness

Popularly known in Danish as TOBS, and its forerunner - habitual change form. Appinux TOBS and change form uses
recognized methods to evaluate an individual's habitual state and changes for the wrose. Changes in the citizen's habitual
state triggers automated alarms by the solution. An triage, or alert, may occur in the call center.

Administration and logistics

An essential part of making social and health cooperation is to be in control of practical administration and logistics. Appinux therefore contains modules User management, Employee management and Device management with Inventory management.

User and employee management

This is where the IT department usually work with the creation and modification of both citizen and employee accounts. Appinux contains over 40 built-in options and fields, in addition, it is possible through dynamic fields to broaden and extend data fields on a citizen. If for instance there is need for a legal field, you have the option of adding this field.

All fields, of course, can be exported via CSV, and used in Microsoft Excel or similar.

Device Manager and inventory control

Besides the purely human parties in a social and health care collaboration solution, there are also some technical devices as measuring instruments, tablets, Internet connections, etc. Which Appinux also handles.

The modules Equipment and Apps ensure that there is control of requisition, delivery and set-up, error messages and inventory.

How do you make a good collaboration platform for social and health care? We think that it should be based on sustainable
technology, be flexible, dynamic, intuitive and above all open.

Technology

Appinux is built on proven and recognized open source components. The core of the platform is a comprehensive web 2.0 application, in addition several apps and external support applications.

Flexible

Flexibility means that those who need access can access, and furthermore that access can be obtained from the platform they use. That is, employees, citizens and relatives can all access the data they need, from where they need it. Technically, access is gained through both the web and apps.

Dynamic

A large and heavy platform is never an advantage, either in training or everyday use. Therefore Appinux dynamically adapts to each customer's needs. We have over 30 modules, which can all be activated and deactivated as needed. In addition, the platform can be adjusted so that an individual with a given diagnosis only see relevant modules, whereas the employee sees other modules.

Intuitive

Appinux is designed as a tablet platform with modules, or apps that appear on the front as icons. Easy and manageable. The icons are designed with a clear stroke and pictogram-like illustrations that are easy to identify.

All our modules follow the same recipe, once one is learned, the rest is intuitively easier to use.

Openness

We believe that it's your datatherefore there must be direct access to all data in the system! Any citizen data can be pulled directly out of the system via a simple CSV export. This can for instance, be used for statistics in Microsoft Excel.

The real openness is, however, integration with other system. Appinux supports integration and data exchange with KMD Care, Avaleo, Aidcube, the Danish Serviceplatform and many others.
